Boobook Owl at Alice Springs Desert Park. Image: Sonia HinesIn 2018, Centre for Remote Health joined with the JBI, a worldwide collaboration for evidence-based practice in healthcare, and formed the CRH-JBI Affiliated Group and in 2022 this group achieved Centre of Excellence status. 

With a focus on rural and remote health, and health equity in particular, MCEH-JBI conducts and facilitates systematic reviews of health evidence and provides training and assistance to those wanting to conduct systematic reviews of their own.

MCEH-JBI also has an interest in knowledge translation/implementation research and is always keen to hear from clinicians with ideas for clinical projects. MCEH-JBI are also available to conduct systematic reviews, translation or implementation research projects by commission or tender on topics related to rural and remote health.
