With the availability of increased student accommodation and the support of the staff at the Tennant Creek Hospital, universities are able to take advantage of the variety and depth of experience that a placement in Tennant Creek can offer.

Tennant Creek (Anyinginyi), situated in the heart of the Barkly Tableland is known as the ‘Golden Heart of the Northern Territory' and is the centre of Warumungu country. Surrounded by vast pastoral lands, it was founded by mining, and provides services to the pastoral and mining industries as well as the surrounding Indigenous Communities.
