Melinda grew up in Central Australia, but left in the early 90's to complete a Bachelor of Health Science in Victoria. She has a range of clinical experiences having worked as an alternative health care practitioner, and has worked primarily in multi disciplinary clinics in Victoria and Darwin. For the past decade, Melinda has been self employed, running a food business - manufacturing and distributing organic loose leaf teas. Her most recent venture was as a facilitator for an indigenous training program in Western Australia. Melinda works on her freelance writing and content provision business in her spare time, and also enjoys photography, cooking and travel. She is Victorian born but raised in Alice Springs, and after two years of travelling, has recently returned to Central Australia. She is currently Support Officer for the Remote Primary Health Care Manuals Project.
