Evaluation of the Sunrise Health Service Aboriginal Corporation’s community health committees
Following the evaluation of the Sunrise Health Service Aboriginal Corporation as part of the Second Round Coordinated Care Trial (2002-2005) by Katherine campus. Further work with SHSAC is being undertaken. Presently a follow up evaluation of the Community Health Committees capacity is in progress. This will be the third evaluation of the committees. The first two were completed in November 2004 and June 2005 respectively.
Evaluation of AMITY’s Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Indigenous Communities Project
Katherine and Darwin campus are collaborating closely with AMITY Community Services in Darwin on the design of an evaluation framework for their Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Indigenous Communities Project. This is a three year project to address the health and social harms associated with the harmful use of volatile substances. Following the design of a framework, a baseline, mid-term and final evaluation will be completed.
